Biden instructs Blinken to consider earmarking $20 mln in aid to Kiev regime

WASHINGTON, December 28. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden has tasked US Secretary of State Antony Blinken with considering the issue of additional aid to Ukraine to the tune of $20 mln, according to a statement published by the White House press service.
According to the document, Biden has delegated "to the Secretary of State the authority <…> to determine whether it is important to the security interests of the United States to furnish up to $20 million in assistance to Ukraine."
Earlier, Reuters, citing the White House, said that the US administration was planning to provide additional $20 mln in military aid to Ukraine. On Wednesday, Blinken said that the Kiev regime would receive a $250-mln military aid package, specifying that this is the final package of aid this year.
