TEL AVIV, December 24. /TASS/. A high-ranking representative of the Hamas militant group was killed as a result of a joint operation of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the General Security Service (Shin Bet), The Jerusalem Post newspaper reported.

Hassan Atrash, the person responsible for the trade, production, and equipping of the military arm of Hamas, was killed in a targeted attack by an Israeli fighter jet, the newspaper said.
