The Arab countries and Russia have worked out a plan of joint actions for 2024-2026, including the implementation of specific projects in various spheres, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and Assistant Secretary General of the Council of the Arab League Hossam Zaki.
"We have worked out a plan of joint actions for three years - for the period 2024-2026, including specific projects in various spheres, for example, in the field of information, sports, education, science. A number of joint events are planned to strengthen our cooperation. And we are determined to fully implement this plan," the top diplomat said, commenting on the results of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum.
"Of course, there are certain difficulties in the implementation of certain provisions of the plan, but we should not dwell on these difficulties. It is important to continue our interaction," Bourita pointed out.
"The indicators of trade and economic cooperation are growing. Moreover, for the Arab countries the dialogue with Russia has a constructive, positive meaning. It is important to bring the Arab world closer to Russia in the humanitarian and cultural spheres," the Moroccan minister emphasized.
