BAKU, December 19. /TASS/. Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission has approved Ilham Aliyev to be a candidate in the snap presidential election set for February 7, the Trend News Agency reported.

The Yeni Azerbaijan Party nominated Aliyev to run in the upcoming presidential election.
