NEW YORK, December 18. /TASS/. The Pentagon has warned that its ability to help Kiev will be exhausted on December 30, unless US Congress approves additional funding for Ukraine, Bloomberg reported, citing a letter by US Under Secretary of Defense Mike McCord.
According to the report, the official told US lawmakers on December 15 that the last $1.07 billion of available funding will be spent on the purchase of new weapons to replenish US inventories.
Once this money is spent, the agency will run out of funding for military assistance to Ukraine, Bloomberg said. The Pentagon predicts this will happen on December 30, according to the new service.
