Belarusian, UAE presidents discuss realization of bilateral projects – media
The meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan lasted about two hours
MINSK, December 8. /TASS/. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko discussed issues of the intense bilateral agenda and implementation of projects with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the BelTA news agency reported.
According to the agency, the heads of state agreed to deepen cooperation in a number of areas during their previous meeting in Abu Dhabi in February this year. They also launched some important projects. BelTA adds that the leaders of the two countries synchronized their watches on the projects' implementation progress at the current meeting.
According to a report posted on the Pool Pervogo Telegram channel, close to the press service of the Belarusian leader, the meeting was held at the personal residence of the UAE president and lasted about two hours. According to the channel, the inviting party defined the format of the meeting as "cozy, family-like." The published video shows that Lukashenko's sons Nikolay and Viktor were also present at the meeting with the UAE president.
Lukashenko arrived in the UAE on November 29. On December 1, he spoke at the World Climate Summit, the main event of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28). Then he paid a working visit to China on December 3-4, where he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The press service of the Belarusian president did not inform that he had arrived in the UAE again.
