CAIRO, December 6. /TASS/. Gasoline trucks carrying about 60,000 tons of fuel have entered the territory of the Palestinian Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, the Al-Qahera Al-Ekhbariya TV channel reported.

According to Al-Qahera Al-Ekhbariya, "two gasoline trucks with more than 60,000 tons of diesel fuel entered the Palestinian enclave from Egyptian territory through the Rafah border crossing."

The TV channel also reported that 140 trucks with humanitarian aid for the population of the Strip are currently in the vicinity of the checkpoint, waiting for the order to cross the border.

Following the disruption of the humanitarian pause, the delivery of aid to the people of Gaza was suspended. According to Egypt's explanations, then, the passage of trucks carrying humanitarian aid and fuel for Gaza into the Strip "was suspended due to the resumption of the Israeli military operation." The next convoy of 50 vehicles did not pass through the Rafah crossing until December 2.

On the morning of December 1, the Israel Defense Forces accused the radical Palestinian Hamas movement of violating the truce and announced that it was resuming hostilities in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian authorities blamed the US for Israel's renewed aggression.
