Over 50 Russians, their families cross Rafah checkpoint
The Russian Emergencies Ministry added that its crisis center in Cairo continues providing people with all necessary services, including medical and psychological assistance
MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. More than 50 Russians, including 27 children, have passed through the Rafah border crossing, the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s press service told TASS.
"The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s service in Egypt continues to register people who cross the Rafah border checkpoint. Today, 53 Russians and their family members, including 27 children, have crossed the border," the statement says.
The ministry noted that its crisis center in Cairo continues providing people with all necessary services, including medical and psychological assistance, water and food, and help with processing documents.
According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a total of 951 people have been evacuated from the conflict zone, 880 of whom have already been brought to Russia. These figures include 380 children.
