Hamas warns Arabs, West against cooperating with Israel
"We reiterate that the administration of the Gaza Strip and national decisions are Palestine’s domestic affairs and we will not let anyone interfere in them," it stressed
RABAT, December 5. /TASS/. Hamas has warned Arab states and the West against cooperating with Israel to the detriment of Palestinians.
"All attempts to oust our people for the sake of a new Al Nakba (which translates to ‘catastrophe’ and refers to the mass displacement of Palestinians after the State of Israel was founded on May 14, 1948 - TASS) will fail. The occupier (Israel - TASS) will be defeated," it said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
"We are warning against Arab and Western cooperation, in any format, with the occupier’s plans to exterminate the Palestinian cause. We reiterate that the administration of the Gaza Strip and national decisions are Palestine’s domestic affairs and we will not let anyone interfere in them," it stressed.
Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7 after militants from the Gaza Strip-based radical Palestinian group Hamas launched a surprise incursion on Israeli territory, killing many Israeli kibbutz residents living near the Gaza border and abducting more than 200 Israelis, including women, children and the elderly. Hamas described its attack as a response to Israeli authorities’ aggressive actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. Israel declared a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and launched bombardments of the enclave and some areas in Lebanon and Syria, as well as a ground operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Clashes are also reported in the West Bank.
