Some 1,100 tons of fuel delivered to Gaza Strip from Egypt

CAIRO, November 28. /TASS/. To date, some 1,100 tons of fuel have been delivered to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing on the border with Egypt, the Al-Youm as-Sabia news portal reported.
According to the portal, "around 1,100 tons of diesel fuel and liquefied gas" have been supplied to Gaza by petrol tank vehicles.
It also reported that eight wounded Palestinians have arrived at the Rafah crossing to be further transferred to an Egyptian hospital. According to Egyptian medics, as many as 58 Palestinians, including several dozen newborns, are undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city of El-Arish on the Sinai Peninsula. Four Palestinians who were evacuated from Gaza in critical condition have died.
Diaa Rashwan, the head of Egypt's State Information Service (SIS), said earlier that under the truce agreement, the Palestinian enclave will receive 130,000 liters of diesel fuel and four trucks with gas from Egypt every day, as well as 200 trucks with food, water, and medicine.
Hamas announced on November 22 that an agreement on a four-day humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip had been reached through the mediation of Qatar and Egypt. The ceasefire came into force in the Gaza Strip at 8:00 a.m. local time (5:00 a.m. GMT) on November 24.
