Elon Musk agrees with Israel’s Netanyahu that Hamas must be destroyed
The US businessman also opined that, unlike the Hamas, Israel tries to avoid killing civilians
TEL AVIV, November 27. /TASS/. US businessman Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, SpaceX and the X social platform, agreed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Palestine’s Hamas movement must be destroyed.
"There’s no choice," he said during an audio chat session with the Israeli Prime Minister, who pointed out the need to eliminate the movement.
In addition, the entrepreneur noted that he would like to help the Jewish state to "demilitarize" and "de-radicalize" the Gaza Strip after the conflict is over.
He also opined that, unlike the Hamas, Israel tries to avoid killing civilians.
On November 27, Musk arrived in Israel. He visited the Kfar Aza kibbutz, one of the most affected by the Hamas’ October 7 attacks.
Recently, the businessman has repeatedly been accused of anti-Semitism, after he endorsed an X user’s comment saying that "Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them."
On November 20, Musk dismissed accusations of anti-Semitism as fiction.
According to The Washington Post, Musk eased the restrictions regarding the content that could be posted on X. In particular, he cut the moderation staff and dismissed the teams that tracked the emergence of "toxic information." According to the Washington Post, at least 164 Jewish leaders accused Musk of spreading anti-Semitism and called on major advertisers to "stop funding X" by advertisements, and recommending Apple and Google to remove the social platform from their app stores.
