NEW YORK, November 26. /TASS/. A tanker presumably operated by an Israeli company has been hijacked off the Yemeni coast, the Associated Press reported, citing Ambrey, a company dealing with maritime security issues.

According to the news agency, the Central Cark ship operated by Zodiac Maritime was attacked in the Gulf of Aden. No details about the attackers are available as of yet.

Zodiac Maritime suspects that its ship was attacked by pirates, AP said. The ship’s crew includes citizens of Russia, Vietnam, Bulgaria, India, Georgia, and the Philippines. The ship is carrying phosphoric acid.
