Israel detains 40 Palestinians, including 3 Hamas members in West Bank

TEL AVIV, November 23. /TASS/. The Israeli military said it conducted counterterrorism raids in the West Bank and detained 40 Palestinians who were on the list of wanted persons, including three Hamas members.
"In the course of joint counterterrorism operations in various areas of Judea and Samaria (Israeli names of the West Bank - TASS), the Israel Defense Forces, Border Police and General Security Service detained 40 wanted suspects, three of them are members of the Hamas terrorist organization," the IDF said in a statement.
The military said that the raid in the Palestinian refugee camp Balata in the West Bank took 14 hours.
The IDF also said that since October 7, Israeli forces have detained 1,950 Palestinians in the West Bank, including more than 1,100 Hamas members.
