IDF carries out intense shelling of Indonesian hospital in Gaza Strip
At least one medical worker was injured by a shell exploding in a hospital courtyard
DUBAI, November 20. /TASS/. The Israeli artillery is carrying out an intense shelling of an Indonesian hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.
According to the report, many patients and refugees were injured in the shelling; at least one medical worker was injured by a shell exploding in a hospital courtyard.
The TV channel noted that Israeli forces "fire at anyone trying to leave the Indonesian hospital premises."
The situation in the Middle East has escalated abruptly after an armed infiltration of HAMAS militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel. The HAMAS movement considers this attack a response to the actions of Israeli authorities towards the Al Aqsa Mosque at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israel announced a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip and started carrying out strikes on the enclave and certain areas in Lebanon and Syria. Clashes are also taking place in the West Bank.
