LONDON, November 16. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claims to have found photos and videos involving hostages held in the Gaza Strip by the Palestinian radical Hamas movement on laptops left by the militants at Al-Shifa hospital, IDF spokesman Jonathan Conricus told a journalist for the British broadcaster BBC.

"[And] we uncovered a lot of computers and other equipment which could really shed light on the current situation, hopefully regarding hostages as well," the BBC quoted Conricus as saying. He said the laptops contained photos and videos of the kidnapped Israelis taken after they were in Gaza.

The BBC's journalist was unable to see the footage. So far, only Hamas supporters have published videos of hostages, while the Israeli military has repeatedly called such recordings acts of psychological terror and propaganda.

On November 15, Israeli media claimed that the IDF found no traces of Palestinian radical Hamas hostages being held at Al-Shifa Hospital. A day earlier, the Kan state broadcaster said that Hamas supporters had taken the Israelis kidnapped on October 7 to Al-Shifa Hospital about two weeks ago. According to its information, some 200 terrorists took refuge at the medical facility after the October 7 attack and brought the hostages there.
