MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. New UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron made his first visit to Kiev in this position, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said.

"David Cameron <...> made his first working visit in his new position to Ukraine," Zelensky wrote in his Telegram channel, posting a video of their meeting.

"What I want to say by being here is that we will continue to give you moral support, the diplomatic support, the economic support, but above all - the military support that you need. Not just this year and next year, but as long as it takes," Cameron said at the meeting, video footage from which Zelensky posted on his Telegram channel

In turn, according to the press service of the Ukrainian president, Zelensky and Cameron discussed the possibilities of strengthening Ukraine's air defense system, the situation in the Black Sea, and the operation of the so-called alternative corridor promoted by Kiev after the termination of the grain deal. In particular, the Ukrainian president praised the UK government for its joint efforts to introduce insurance systems for ships passing through the corridor.

Earlier, Western media said that Kiev's allies were growing tired of Ukraine and that support for its leader was dwindling.

On November 13, former British Prime Minister David Cameron was appointed head of the UK Foreign Office. In a conversation with Zelensky, he said he intended to make his first trip to Ukraine after his appointment.
