YEREVAN, November 15. /TASS/. Armenia is looking for new security partners and trying to find new arms suppliers. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"We are diversifying our security relations, as our security partners cannot - including for objective reasons - sell us weapons and ammunition. We speak about this openly and directly. We now tell them: Don't take offense at us. We are trying to find and are finding partners to acquire a certain amount of weapons and equipment," he said at the parliament.

Earlier, French news media reported that Paris plans to send three air defense radars to Armenia, which are capable of detecting low-speed and low-flying targets, such as drones, as well as high-speed fighter jets flying at high altitude. India will also supply weapons to Armenia. According to the Economic Times, the contracts are worth $244.7 million. Under the contracts, India has already sold Armenia its Pinaka multiple launch rocket systems, which were sold abroad for the first time, as well as anti-tank missiles and ammunition. The arms deliveries were made via Iran.
