IDF urges residents of three more Gaza City neighborhoods to evacuate to south
The IDF made an announcement for the residents of the Tel al-Hawa, Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods in Gaza City
TEL AVIV, November 14. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) calls on residents of three more districts of Gaza City to evacuate to the southern parts of the enclave as soon as possible, Israeli army spokesman Avihai Edri said.
"Here’s an important announcement for the residents of the Tel al-Hawa, Sabra and Zeitoun neighborhoods in Gaza City. The IDF informs that for your own safety, it is necessary to urgently evacuate along the Salah al-Din Road by foot or by car before 4:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. GMT - TASS) to reach the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Do not fall for Hamas propaganda. Staying in Gaza City and its surroundings puts your life in danger," Edri wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in Arabic.
Earlier on Tuesday, Edri said that the Israeli military would suspend hostilities in the Tuffah neighborhood (located in southern Gaza City) to allow the remaining residents to leave. He also informed residents of the northern neighborhoods of the enclave that the humanitarian corridor would operate from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time (7:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m. GMT). The route follows Salah al-Din Road to the south of the enclave. Moreover, the Israeli military will allow residents of the Al-Shati Palestinian refugee camp to leave from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time due to the ongoing hostilities there.
