TEL AVIV, November 14. /TASS/. The Israeli military has taken control of the Hamas legislative council, the governor's house, the police headquarters and the building of the engineering faculty in Gaza, where weapons development was taking place, the army press service reported.
"The servicemen took control of the central command centers of the Hamas terrorist organization and eliminated many terrorists. In recent days, the fighters of the 7th brigade and the Golani Brigade <...> raided the government offices of the Hamas terrorist organization used for military purposes. The 7th brigade seized the Hamas legislative council, a government building, the Hamas police headquarters and an engineering faculty used for the production and development of weapons," the statement said.
In addition, "Golani Brigade fighters raided the governor's house building, which was used as a terrorist facility and housed Hamas military and police offices, Hamas military intelligence offices, the organization's headquarters, and fortified positions used, among other things, for Hamas training in preparation for the October 7 infiltration into Israel."
