Israeli army announces four-hour pause in hostilities in southern Gaza City

TEL AVIV, November 14. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has suspended hostilities in Gaza City for four hours to allow the remaining civilians to leave, IDF Spokesman Avihai Edri said.
"Today, we will suspend hostilities in the Daraj Tuffah area (in the southern part of Gaza City - TASS) between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. local time (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. GMT - TASS)," he wrote in Arabic on X (formerly Twitter).
Edri added that a humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of civilians from the northern Gaza Strip would become operational again between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. GMT. The route runs along the Salah al-Din Road to the south of the enclave.
In addition, the Israeli military will provide the residents of the Al-Shati refugee camp with an opportunity to leave between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. GMT.
On Sunday, the Israeli army started to implement humanitarian pauses in various parts of the enclave. On November 12, the IDF announced a four-hour pause near the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. On November 13, hostilities were suspended near the city of Rafah near the border with Egypt.
