MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. Risks of drawing third countries into the Palestinian-Israeli conflict are very high, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal told TASS.

"Naturally, the risks are high. We have been saying this since the very first day: if Israel attacks ‘on the ground,’ the conflict may spread. We’ll see how the situation unfolds," he said.

When asked to comment on Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant’s warning that if Hezbollah unleashes a large-scale war the Israeli army will be ready to do in Beirut what it is doing now in Gaza, the ambassador said he wound refrain from doing this. "This is up to Hezbollah to comment. We think that the Israelis attack everywhere, all Palestinian and destroy everything," he added.
