Turkish aid ship for Gaza to arrive in Egypt on Saturday — Erdogan

Turkish President recalled that an international conference organized by his wife is scheduled for November 15 in Istanbul

DUBAI, November 11. /TASS/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a Turkish ship with humanitarian cargo for Gaza residents is expected to arrive in the Egyptian port of El-Arish on Saturday.

"In cooperation with our Egyptian brothers, we sent ten planes carrying humanitarian aid to the El-Arish airport to deliver it to Gaza. Our ship with a total of 666 tons of humanitarian aid left yesterday and will hopefully arrive at El-Arish port today," he said at an extraordinary joint summit of the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh.

Erdogan recalled that an international conference organized by his wife is scheduled for November 15 in Istanbul. "Preparations for this meeting with the participation of the spouses of heads of state and government are underway. At this stage, our priority is a ceasefire and the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid," he said.
