One person killed, 20 injured in strike on Al-Quds hospital in Gaza
"Most of the victims are children. Two of them are in critical condition," the Palestinian Red Crescent Society specified
DUBAI, November 10. /TASS/. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 20 people were wounded and one killed in an Israeli strike that targeted the area around Al-Quds Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
"One person was killed and 20 wounded in an Israeli strike near Jerusalem's [Al-Quds] Hospital," the organization said in a statement published on Facebook (banned in Russia as it’s owned by Meta Corporation, which is designated as extremist in Russia). "Most of the victims are children. Two of them are in critical condition."
The Israel Defense Forces said earlier that the military has attacked more than 15,000 sites in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the hostilities.
Tensions flared up again in the Middle East on October 7 when Hamas militants staged a surprise attack on Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Hamas described its attack as a response to the aggressive actions of Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. Israel has announced a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and has been delivering air strikes on Gaza as well as some parts of Lebanon and Syria. Clashes are also underway in the West Bank.
