BAIRUT, November 10. /TASS/. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq movement claims to have delivered a strike on the US military base in the Syrian al-Tanf border region, the Al Mayadeen television channel reported on Friday.

"Fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked the Al-Tanf base of the US invaders in Syria with the use of a drone, which hit its target," the television channel cited the movement’s statement.

No data on potential casualties or damage were given.

US military bases in Syria and Iraq came under drone attacks amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. According to CNN, there have been 46 such attacks since October 17.
