Israel detains over 900 Hamas activists in West Bank in past month
According to the IDF, 1,430 wanted persons have been detained across the West Bank since hostilities broke out on October 7
TEL AVIV, November 8. /TASS/. Israel’s security forces detained 37 wanted suspects in the West Bank over the past night, including ten supporters of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
Thus, a total of 1,430 Palestinians have been detained since October 7, and of those, more than 900 are Hamas activists, the IDF press service added.
"According to latest reports, 1,430 wanted persons have been detained across Judea and Samaria (Israel’s name for the West Bank - TASS) since hostilities broke out [on October 7], and more than 900 of them have links to the Hamas terrorist organization," the statement said.
"In the past night (on the night of November 8 - TASS), 37 wanted suspects were detained during operations in Judea and Samaria. Ten of them are supporters of the Hamas terrorist organization," the IDF said.
