Mikhail Filiponenko was killed in Lugansk in a car bombing
MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Mikhail Filiponenko, member of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) People's Council (parliament) and former People's Militia chief.
According to the military intelligence agency’s Telegram channel, a "special operation" was carried out to assassinate the lawmaker.
Mikhail Filiponenko was killed in Lugansk in a car bombing. Previously, an unsuccessful attempt on his life had been made on February 21, 2022. LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik expressed condolences over Filiponenko’s death.
