TOKYO, November 8. /TASS/. The foreign ministers of Group of Seven (G7) nations confirmed their unity on sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine at a meeting in Tokyo.
"The G7 Foreign Ministers concurred that the G7 will remain united in its attitude to impose severe sanctions against Russia and provide strong support for Ukraine, even in today’s international situation," said a statement released by the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, the top diplomats of Japan and Germany, Yoko Kamikawa and Annalena Baerbock, held a bilateral meeting in Tokyo, highlighting the need for continued assistance to Ukraine despite the current escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
