US imposes export restrictions on 7 individuals, 3 companies for supplies to Russia
The US authorities suspect them of involvement in a scheme to supply dual-purpose electronic components to Russia without due authorization
WASHINGTON, November 8. /TASS/. The US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions on seven individuals, including Russians, and three companies based in the United States and the United Arab Emirtates for alleged supplies of electronics to Russia.
The Bureau of Industry and Security said in a statement that it was "temporarily denying, for a period of 180 days, the export privileges" of seven individuals. Four of them reside in Russia, two - in Canada and one in the United States.
Similar measures will be apllied to US-based companies SH Brothers Group, Inc. and SN Electronics, Inc., as well as UAE-based Suntronic F.Z.E.
