CAIRO, November 3. /TASS/. More than 20 people have been killed in Israeli bombardment of a school in Gaza City, which sheltered hundreds of Palestinians forced to flee their homes in the wake of Israel’s military operation in the enclave, Al Jazeera reported.

According to the television channel, "dozens of people were also wounded."

It is reported that a school in the Saftawi area in the north of Gaza City was hit in the attack. Several classrooms, where Palestinians were hiding from Israeli air raids as in bomb shelters, have been destroyed.
