Top Iranian diplomat meets with Hamas leader for second time since October 7

DUBAI, October 31. /TASS/. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Doha, the IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.
According to the news agency, the meeting focused on the situation in Gaza. It was their second meeting since October 7 when Hamas militants attacked Israel. No further details were given.
Prior to that, the top Iranian diplomat met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. At the meeting with the Qatari leader, Abdollahian said that the Israeli army is incapable of dealing with the Palestinian resistance. The Qatari emir, in turn, noted that the mass rallies held in support of Palestine around the world, including in the United States, are a show of the global community's condemnation for Israel’s crimes.
After his visit to Qatar, the Iranian foreign minister will go to Turkey.
