BEIRUT, October 30. /TASS/. The Israeli air force has struck positions of the Syrian army in the southern Deraa Governorate, the SANA news agency reported, citing sources in the country’s armed forces.
According to the news agency, the strike was carried out at 1:35 a.m. local time (22.35 GMT) from the direction of the Golan Heights. As a result of the attack, two military facilities were damaged.
There is no information about fatalities or casualties.
Early on Monday morning, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that it had struck military facilities on the territory of Syria. "A short while ago, in response to launches from Syria toward Israeli territory earlier Sunday, an IDF aircraft struck military infrastructure in Syrian territory," the army press service said.
