Head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andrey Yermak pointed out that plans for nuclear and radiation safety, the release of prisoners, energy and food security were developed by working groups

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. The Ukrainian side together with its foreign partners presented plans to implement provisions of President Vladimir Zelensky's so-called peace formula at the third meeting on Ukraine, which was held in Malta on October 28-29, Andrey Yermak, head of the Ukrainian presidential office, said.

According to him, the meeting at the level of national security advisors and foreign policy advisors was attended by representatives of 66 states and international organizations. "Specific provisions of the peace formula and developments on its implementation were considered. Attention was focused on five key points," he wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that they were, in particular, nuclear and radiation safety, the release of prisoners, energy and food security.

Yermak pointed out that plans for each of these issues were developed by working groups that included representatives of diplomatic missions of various countries from all regions of the world.

Zelensky, speaking via videoconference on the G20 summit in mid-November 2022, presented a so-called ten-point peace plan that does not take into account Moscow's position. In particular, it calls for the complete withdrawal of Russian forces from the 1991 borders and the return of control over the "exclusive economic zone" in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov to Ukraine. Kyiv is actively trying to promote this plan. In particular, on June 24, 2023, in Copenhagen (Denmark) and on August 5-6 2023 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), consultations were held for this purpose. Russia was not invited.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that the upcoming event in Malta is counterproductive and has no prospects. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Kiev's statements about a peaceful settlement were made without taking into account the existing realities.
