RABAT, October 29. /TASS/. The Gaza Strip has used up most of its strategic fuel reserve and the shortage could have catastrophic consequences, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society told the Al Jazeera TV channel.

"We have used up most of the strategic fuel reserve and its shortage will lead to a catastrophic situation. Despite all international appeals, we cannot deliver the necessary fuel to Gaza for the health system," the organization said.

"The medical supplies we have received are a drop in the ocean compared to the needs of Gaza's hospitals," the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said, adding that "communication disruptions are affecting patients' access to emergency medical care.".
