Poland to hold military drills this month near state borders with Russia, Belarus

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. /TASS/. The Polish armed forces are set to hold military drills, Zubr-23, later this month near the state borders of Russia and Belarus, the General Command of the Polish armed forces stated on its page on the X social network (formerly Twitter).
According to the statement, the tactical exercise will be held on the territories of firing ranges and beyond them as well.
The scheduled maneuvers stipulate an increased movement of military personnel and hardware on the roads, in cities and forests on the territories of Podlaskie, Masovian, Lublin and Warmia-Masuria provinces of Poland.
The most important part of the maneuvers is scheduled for October 26-29 and their aim is to increase the security level along the eastern border of Poland and to prepare national troops for operations under extreme conditions.
