BERLIN, October 24. /TASS/. Germany is committed to its promise to support Kiev’s authorities "as long as it is needed," with the total amount of assistance extended to Ukraine having reached 24 bln euro, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said.
"Our civil and military assistance since the beginning of the war has totaled 24 bln euro," he said at the German-Ukrainian economic forum.
German official said earlier that the amount of assistance totaled 23 bln euro.
"Our promise remains relevant as we support Ukraine as long as it is necessary," Scholz added.
