TEL AVIV, October 24. /TASS/. The Israeli military continues to strike targets of the Shiite Hezbollah organization in Lebanon, the army's press service said. They stressed that the strikes were carried out in response to Lebanese shelling.

"The Israel Defense Forces recently attacked terrorist targets belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah. Among these were a military complex, a military post, and an observation post used by Hezbollah," the statement said.

"These strikes were carried out in response to the launching of rockets and anti-tank shells from Lebanese territory today (Monday)," the statement said.
