An attempted coup and seizure of power by the special forces, the Sudanese Armed Forces spokesman said

CAIRO, April 18. /TASS/. The Army of Sudan considers the current situation in the country a coup attempt by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), the Sudanese Armed Forces spokesman said Tuesday.

"What we observe [in Sudan] today is an attempted coup and seizure of power [by the special forces]," the spokesman said, according to Al Arabiya.
