BEIJING, April 13. /TASS/. The sides involved in the Ukrainian conflict should create conditions for peace negotiations because there is no other way to resolve this crisis, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Thursday.

"There is no miracle cure to resolve the crisis, each party should lead the way, accumulate mutual trust as well as create conditions for peace talks and ceasing hostilities," the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s website quoted him as saying on the sidelines of a ministerial conference of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand.

He added that China would continue to play a constructive role in facilitating the political settlement of the conflict and the resumption of peace negotiations.
