MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russia and Kazakhstan have no problems whatsoever in their bilateral relations, because both countries maintain permanent contact, Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu said on Tuesday.

"Considering the complicated global situation, our countries managed to maintain harmonious and constructive relations," he said speaking at a news conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. "Due to our actively maintained dialogue there are no problems today at all between our countries."

"We have a desire to solve all problems, and if there are any difficult issues that arise on our agenda, we traditionally solve them in the spirit of alliance and friendship," Nurtleu, who also serves as the deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan, noted.

"Present-day relations between Kazakhstan and Russia can be viewed as the most successful and effective model of bilateral and integration cooperation, and it can be also taken as a guarantee of stability and security in the Eurasian area," the Kazakh diplomat added.

The top Kazakh diplomat recalled last year’s key event: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Moscow where the two leaders agreed to continue to strengthen bilateral relations.

Nurtleu, who has headed the Kazakh presidential office since February 2022, was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs on April 3.
