Biden to begin his Ireland visit with Belfast, meeting with UK Prime Minister

LONDON, April 11. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden will begin his four-day tour to Northern Ireland and the neighboring Republic of Ireland with a stop in Belfast. As previously reported by the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, the US administration's visit to Northern Ireland is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Belfast Agreement, which ended many years of armed conflict in Northern Ireland.
Following his trip to Belfast, Biden will visit the neighboring Republic of Ireland on Wednesday. According to the White House, during this visit, the US president will discuss cooperation between the two nations on a wide range of global challenges and participate in a number of events during his visit.
Biden is expected to return to Washington on April 14.
