Xi Jinping attaches great importance to relations with North Korea — KCNA
The Secretary General of the Communist Party of China expressed his readiness to speed up the development of socialism in both countries
SEOUL, April 8. /TASS/. Chinese leader Xi Jinping sent a verbal message to North Korean Kim Jong-Un, in which he underscored that he attaches great importance to the relations between the two countries, KCNA reported Saturday.
Xi Jinping thanked Kim Jong-Un for the congratulatory letter, sent after the Chinese leader’s recent re-election.
"The Secretary General of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping said that he attaches great importance to the relations between the two parties and states, expressed his readiness to speed up the development of socialism in both countries and to contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in the region by strengthening the strategic management of relations between China and North Korea together with the Secretary General of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Jong-Un in the new situation," the news agency said.
The message was relayed by the new Chinese envoy to Pyongyang Wang Yajun thought the head of the Korean Workers’ Party Central Committee’s international department Kim Song-Nam.
