NEW YORK, April 4. /TASS/. Former US President Donald Trump left the courtroom on Tuesday after being arraigned in connection with falsification of financial documents of his company, the Trump Organization, a TASS correspondent reported.

Earlier in the day, the ex-president was charged with 34 counts of falsifying documents and pleaded not guilty.

Therefore, Trump became the first US president, current or active, to face criminal charges.

According to CNN, Trump will depart to LaGuardia Airport straight from the court and board a plane to Florida. Later on Tuesday, he is expected to deliver a speech from his Mar-a-Lago estate.
