Serbia’s Health Ministry urges Ukraine to prevent use of depleted uranium shells
"I also have a request to the leadership of Ukraine: do not allow [the use of] this poison on your land," Danica Grujicic said
MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Serbia’s Health Minister Danica Grujicic has urged the people and leadership of Ukraine to prevent the use of depleted uranium shells in their country.
"It's terribly risky, it's nuclear war. I believe that any government that takes care of the health of the population should not allow anyone to use such shells. I just want to tell the Ukrainians, the ordinary people: do not let this poison into your country. <...> Please, do not allow the use of these shells. I would like all Ukrainians to realize what I am saying, too, because I think that Russian politicians know very well what happened in Serbia. I also have a request to the leadership of Ukraine: do not allow [the use of] this poison on your land," Grujicic said in an interview on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
