MINSK, March 31. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that 30 individuals implicated in a terrorist attack on an aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Forces stationed at the Machulishchy airfield near Minsk had been detained.

"Thirty scoundrels are behind bars," he said addressing the Belarusian nation and parliament on Friday.

According to Lukashenko, Belarusian intelligence agencies conducted a "brilliant operation" to locate and neutralize the subversive in charge of the attack and his accomplices. "We quickly found this saboteur and everyone who abetted him," the Belarusian leader noted.

In early March, the Belarusian president told of a terror attack on an A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces at the Machulishchy military airfield, which occurred in late February. Ukrainian national Nikolay Shvets was detained on suspicion of sabotage.
