Minsk making all efforts to establish peace in Ukraine, says Lukashenko

As the Belarusian leader pointed out, "the United States and its satellites" are unable to cope with this crisis today

MINSK, March 31. /TASS/. Belarus is the country that has done its utmost for ceasing hostilities on Ukrainian soil, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in his address to the nation and the parliament on Friday.

"It is us who did everything possible to halt the military operations in Ukraine and establish peace so much needed for our Ukrainian and Russian brothers," the Belarusian leader said.

As Lukashenko pointed out, "the United States and its satellites" are unable to cope with this crisis today.

"I want to calm you down: don’t be afraid, everything will be normal and we will protect peace, not destroy it, as far as possible," the Belarusian president stressed.
