MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. The Communist Party of China is set to develop and enhance cooperation with Russia and resist other states’ policy of confrontation and neo-colonialism, a senior party official has said.
"The Communist Party of China is set to enhance dialogue and cooperation with you, to bring about more stability and certainty in the era of turbulence and changes," Liu Jianchao, the head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party, said on Thursday, addressing the first session of the organizing committee of the Forum of supporters against modern neocolonial practices’ via a video linkup.
According to the Chinese official, some states retained their colonial mindset over time and continue to interfere into sovereign affairs of other states, provoking color revolutions and imposing their values and ideology.
Liu Jianchao went on to say that Beijing "sticks to the principle of indivisible security and opposes attempts to boost one’s security at the expense of others."
He called upon other nations to jointly resist the policy of confrontation, oppose other states’ attempts to violate peace, defend the legitimate rights of developing nations and help the global management to develop in a more fair and rational way.
"China favors an innovative, open, interrelated and inclusive concept of nations’ development," the official added.
