TEL AVIV, March 29. /TASS/. Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Wednesday held a second round of talks with negotiators representing parliamentary parties in search of a compromise on the judicial reform that recently sparked mass protests of the opposition, the presidential office said.

The president in his Jerusalem residence first received a delegation from the Arab party Ra’am (5 seats in the 120-seat parliament), then conferred with delegates from the leftist pro-Arab bloc Hadash-Ta’al (5 seats), which was followed by talks with the labor party HaAvoda (4 seats).

The first round of talks took place a day earlier. It was attended by representatives of the ruling coalition and the two largest opposition forces: the Yesh Atid party of former Prime Minister Yair Lapid (24 seats in parliament) and the bloc led by former Defense Minister Benny Gantz (12 seats).
