WARSAW, March 29. /TASS/. Poland’s Internal Security Agency detained three more people suspected of espionage for Russia, spokesman for Polish security agencies Stanislaw Zaryn said Tuesday.

"The Internal Security Agency identified new people who acted within the previously discovered spy network. We are dealing with detainees, charged with espionage and participation in an organized crime group," he said, adding that the number of detainees under this case has reached 12.

"We are talking about people who acted within a group, managed by Russian intelligence. They carried out concrete missions for Russian intelligence agencies both in traditional intelligence activities and in propaganda. This is an entire network, which included people who collected information on routes and transportation for Ukraine, but these people were also spreading specific content, ordered by the Russian side, which is a part of the ongoing agenda of the active propaganda against Poland," Zaryn claimed.

In early March, the Internal Security Agency detained nine foreigners that were later charged with espionage for Russia and participation in an organized crime group. Minister of the Interior Mariusz Kaminski said that the suspects allegedly "carried out intelligence activities against Poland and prepared acts of sabotage under orders from the Russian intelligence." Polish authorities have not officially disclosed the detainees’ nationality.

On March 22, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told reporters that Warsaw offers Minsk to exchange detained Belarusian nationals. According to Lukashenko, Polish authorities arrested five Ukrainians and three Belarusians, but no one would show or prove anything.
