TOKYO, March 16. /TASS/. The Japanese government has expressed a protest to North Korea following Thursday’s ballistic missile launch, Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said at a news conference in Tokyo on Thursday.

"We expressed a protest to North Korea via the Japanese embassy in Beijing. Such actions threaten the security of our country and the entire region," he said.
