MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. The statements by Sweden, Germany and Denmark that they allegedly transferred information on the investigation of the attacks on the Nord Stream pipelines to the Russian side do not correspond to reality, a diplomatic source in New York said on Tuesday.

Earlier First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said, that the Russia has distributed to the UN a copy of the correspondence with Denmark, Sweden and Germany on their national investigations. The published correspondence indicates that the three countries did not sufficiently inform the Russian side on this issue.

"Thus, it is obvious and now it has been documented, that the statements by Denmark, Sweden and Germany that they allegedly informed the Russian side about their investigations do not correspond to reality," the diplomatic source summed up.

In particular, in response to five requests from Russia’s Prosecutor General's Office for international legal assistance in a criminal case the Swedish Ministry of Justice replied that it satisfaction of the requests of the Russian Federation "entails a threat to the security of the state." On this basis, these requests were rejected.

The response to a similar request the German competent authorities replied that now it is not possible to establish a joint incident investigation team and provide any physical evidence, the source said.
